Valencia Promenade Branch Closure FAQs
The Logix Valencia Promenade Branch will close permanently on December 14, 2024. This branch, located at McBean Parkway and Magic Mountain Parkway, has proudly served our members since 2012. However, after a thorough review, we’ve decided to close this location due to overlapping coverage from nearby branches, allowing us to optimize future branch and digital services. Below, we’ve answered some common questions to help guide you through this transition.
Q: Why is the Valencia Promenade Branch closing?
A: After careful consideration, we have decided not to renew the lease for this location. Logix operates five branches in the Santa Clarita Valley, which has led to market overlap and reduced member traffic. As more members prefer to bank online, we believe we can gain efficiency by closing this location and reinvesting the savings in ways that best serve our members.
Q: Will Logix close other branches in the future?
A: We have no plans to close additional branches at this time.
Q: What will happen to the branch employees?
A: All employees will transition to other nearby branch locations or different roles within Logix. Joseph Mandujano, Financial Consultant, will continue to serve members by appointment from other branch locations.
Q: What will happen to the Promenade Branch ATM?
A: The Valencia Promenade ATM will be removed. However, you will continue to enjoy unlimited free access to Logix ATMs as well as 30,000 fee-free CO-OP Network ATMs nationwide. Click here to find locations near you.
Q: Where is my nearest Santa Clarita branch?
A: Four other Logix branches are available to serve you: Bridgeport, Bouquet Canyon, Golden Valley, and Stevenson Ranch. You can explore other Logix locations through our branch locator.
Q: How can I easily deposit checks or cash?
A: You can deposit checks easily using the Logix Mobile App. For cash deposits, visit one of our nearby branches or use an in-network ATM that accepts deposits.
Q: Is my money safe with Logix?
A: Rest assured Logix is financially strong, sound and exceptionally well-capitalized. We are in excellent financial condition with a strong balance sheet and capital, and we’re federally insured by NCUA.
Q: Will my account, account number, or services be impacted by the branch closure?
A: Your account and services will remain the same. You may visit any of our other branches or enjoy the convenience of our Mobile Banking App and Online Banking services.
